  1.                   Pegasus Mail Manuals for Single Users

  3. [ Please note - this order form is for ordering single-user versions of the
  4.   Pegasus Mail manual set. For multi-user orders, please consult the file
  5.   ORDER.FRM in this directory. For your convenience, you can also order
  6.   manuals directly from within WinPMail itself, using the "Manual Orders"
  7.   option on the "Extensions" menu. ]

  10. Pegasus Mail is free software - anyone may use it without charge or
  11. obligation. If you wish, you can purchase printed manuals for Pegasus Mail:
  12. we want to stress to you that such a purchase is purely optional, although
  13. manual sales do contribute directly to the ongoing support and maintenance
  14. of the system. Nonetheless, money is not the primary motivation behind
  15. Pegasus Mail and if you find you do not need a manual then we consider
  16. that a compliment.

  18. Single-User manuals are provided as a soft-bound User Guide of about
  19. 70 A4 pages with a short appendix covering issues specific to setup
  20. and operation in the standalone (i.e, non-networked) environment. The
  21. manual is accompanied by a diskette containing the version of Pegasus
  22. Mail/Windows to which it refers. You may not duplicate a Single-User
  23. manual, and it does not include the Network Administrator's Guide for
  24. the program.

  26. Single-User manuals cost US$35.00 or the equivalent in your currency
  27. (see the next section) plus the cost of whichever freight method you
  28. choose.

  31. Single-user orders: terms and conditions.

  33. We have attempted to keep the price of the Single-User manual set as
  34. low as possible, but in order to do so, we have had to apply a few
  35. ordering restrictions (which do NOT apply to multi-user licenses):
  36.  
  37. 1: We cannot accept company purchase orders for Single-User manuals
  38.    unless you are purchasing 5 or more copies (in which case you should
  39.    look at Multi-User licensing in the previous section before placing
  40.    your order). Please note: "company purchase order" in this context
  41.    means an official, payment-on-invoice order form for credit
  42.    purchases on standard nett-30-day terms. Naturally, individual users
  43.    wishing to buy a single manual may do so - all we're saying is that
  44.    if you want to buy fewer than five copies, you must prepay your
  45.    order.

  47. 2: We require payment with order, either by credit card or cheque. We
  48.    will accept cheques in any currency negotiable in New Zealand,
  49.    provided the cheque is drawn on a bank in the country where that
  50.    currency is used (so, we cannot accept a cheque in US Dollars drawn
  51.    on a Canadian bank, for instance). The cheque you send us must have
  52.    a value equivalent to or greater than the US$ amount of the order;
  53.    we recommend you ask your bank for an exchange rate. At the time
  54.    of writing, we know for sure that we can accept payment in:
  55.    US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Deutschmarks, French and Swiss Francs,
  56.    English Pounds, Italian Lira, Swedish or Danish Kronor, Dutch
  57.    Guilders, and Australian and New Zealand Dollars.

  59. 3: We will accept payment in cash in any of the currencies above, but
  60.    you must add a US$5 (or equivalent) surcharge to cover our bank's
  61.    conversion charge. We STRONGLY urge you NOT to pay by cash unless
  62.    there is no other way, and if you MUST do so, make sure you send
  63.    it by registered mail.

  65. 4: Credit card payments attract a 2.5% surcharge (to recover part of
  66.    what the bank charges us for processing the payment). This will be
  67.    added automatically to the amount charged to your card - you do not
  68.    need to include it in your calculations on the order form.

  70. 5: Orders must be sent to us on the order form which follows this
  71.    section. We cannot accept orders sent using any other form.
  72.  
  73. 6: If you are a US corporation or any other US body which is required
  74.    to perform tax reporting on payments it makes, be advised that
  75.    the vendor is not US-resident for tax purposes and cannot supply
  76.    you with FEINs, SSNs or any other US Tax-related data. Requests
  77.    for this information will not receive replies.

  79. 7: No future upgrades to either the documentation or software are
  80.    included in the price of a Single-User manual, but purchasing a
  81.    manual will entitle you to a small discount on any future copies
  82.    you buy.

  84. 8: If a new release is imminent, we reserve the right to hold your
  85.    order so that you get the new version. We cannot guarantee that
  86.    you will be notified that your order is being held, but you may
  87.    query by e-mail to orders@pmail.gen.nz.

  89. 9: There is a basic processing time of 7-10 working days on all
  90.    orders - this delay is over and above the shipping times quoted
  91.    on the order form and must be taken into account when working
  92.    out projected delivery times.
